This three-day course is an introduction to epilepsy evaluation and treatment
using current neurophysiological, imaging, pharmacological, and surgical
techniques. Lectures will be complemented and further illustrated by discussions
of epilepsy cases.
Epileptology: Comprehensive Review
and Practical Exercises
- Identify - Discuss the different molecular and pathological etiologies of various types of epilepsy - Explain the role of genetics in the expression of epilepsy in humans
- Apply therapeutic strategies
that are most effective for specific epilepsy types
